Fossil Oil and the History of Candle Production

Candles have been produced for centuries from fossil oil and fat-based materials. There is hardly any other product that has endured over the centuries like the candle.

1895The Swedish scientist Svante Arrhenius presented a paper to the Science Society of Stockholm with the title „ About the effects of carbon acids on the atmosphere and on ground temperature forecasting that the burning of  fossil carriers of energy would lead to global warming.
